MAD has received approval from Volkswagen AG for the reinforced main springs and lift springs for the new Volkswagen ID. Buzz (Cargo). Both for the front and rear. These suspension systems are thereby provided with a LONO (Letter Of No Objection).
To obtain these factory approvals, Volkswagen conducted several tests, including a dynamic driving test and various braking tests. According to the reports, our suspension systems fully comply with Volkswagen's guidelines. This confirmation underlines that MAD's development guidelines meet the highest international automotive standards.
Reinforced main springs are important for ID. Buzz when loaded
The all-electric ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo are widely deployable due to their clever design. Especially in situations where the vehicle is regularly or standardly loaded, such as when transporting people, tools or goods. Then the ride height, comfort, stability and handling are quickly negatively affected. This calls for an adaptation of the suspension system.
Thanks to MAD's new reinforced main springs, the electric van maintains the ideal ride height in loaded situations and comfort, stability and handling remain optimal.
The approval also includes the MAD lift springs, ideal for deployment when more ground clearance (+30 mm) is required as standard, such as for off-road duty.
